When I clicked on Inspire me Thursday and saw the challenge was Lace - I of course immediately thought of lace as in the intricate fabrications attached to garments. So, I really loved it that you chose an image that open the doors for more interpretations. By the way, I am a biology teacher - was - now an assistant principal but art is my love. I taught art through biology it was fun and the kids loved it. Angela

I have a pair of Turquoise ones, that my daughter, has been trying to get to! It's not going to happen! I grew up with these! Great line work and energy. I like your style!

hee-hee!! I live in Chuck Taylors!! I dropped the high tops for the lows though but I have them in many colors and patterns ( for the artist and kid in me!)

Great piece for lace :)

I have been wanting a pair of these forever and have never broken down and bought them. You scketch pick's up the spirit of this shoe dead on. Forget the shoe being a Classic, your drawing is.
