great take on the topic! this illo has a nice rhyme your drawing style is beautiful, i like how the characters body posturing matches the era, i think i would have caught on even without the signage!

I think I'm from the '20's, at least in my heart. That decade was full of fun from what i've read and seen brought to life in old movies, and I like the style of clothing, for men and women, flappers rule.
Great fun this piece and I love your style!

The senenties are fun too, funk it up, reminds me of Bootsie Collins and the Mother Ship.

I was once a high school art teacher and this illustration reminds me *so* much of the "staff" page of the annual, drawn by a talented Grade 12 student.
